Poseidon Greek God Of the Sea

Poseidon is the Greek God of seas, rivers, storms, floods, and bringer of earthquakes. He is brother of Zeus, and Hades and was a key figure in the battle for Olympus helping oust his father bringing about the reign of the Olympians. He has many famous children including Triton, Theseus, Orion the hunter, the Pegasus, the Minotaur, and the ship eating monster Charybdis. Poseidon is patron of mariners, horses, and horse breeding.
