Valerian is native to Europe and Asia and has been cultivated since the time of ancient Greece. Valerian has been used as a medicinal herb since at least the time of ancient Greece and Rome. Hippocrates described its sedative properties, and Galen later prescribed it as a remedy for insomnia.

Use valerian in sachets for love, sleep, purification, and protection. Add this herb to a tea for sleep, purification, and protection.
