Chicory is native to Northern Africa, Western Asia, and parts of Europe. The cultivation of this herb is believed to have started in ancient Egypt. It was later grown my monks in Medieval Europe.

Use chicory in sachets for invisibility, frugality, and removing obstacles. Powder and burn this herb as incense to remove obstacles. One can add chicory to a bath before seeking favors from either spirits or people.
