Alfalfa has been cultivated as an animal fodder since at least the time of the ancient Greeks and Romans. Since lush fields overflowing with cattle were a sign of wealth in ancient times, it’s not hard to see how this herb became known as a charm against want.

Alfalfa can be used in sachets and teas to promote prosperity. One can place a small jar with alfalfa in the pantry in order to ensure that it never runs empty.  Use water infused with Alfalfa to wash your home to bring prosperity and good fortune.
