Kwan yin (or guan yin, Quan Yin ) is an Asian goddess of mercy and compassion worshiped primarily in India, Japan and China. In Chinese Buddhism, Kwan Yin is associated with the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, the pinnacle of mercy, compassion, kindness and love. She is usually depicted in white robes with necklaces representing Indian/Chinese royalty.
