Zeus is the Greek god of the sky, thunder, wisdom, and king of the gods. He is well known throughout myth as unfaithful to his wife fathering many gods and demi-gods from women other than his wife Hera. Zeus is the god who overthrew the titans by poisoning his own father and freeing his siblings who Chronos had eaten. He is depicted as a bearded muscular man wielding a thunderbolt and is often seen with his golden eagle.
