Khonsu Egyptian God of Moon

Khonsu is son of Amun and Mut and the Egyptian God of the moon, healing, fertility, evil spirits, and time. He is depicted as a youthful man with the head of a falcon with the lunar disk upon his head.  The Great Temple of Khonsu was built in Karnak by Ramesses III and showed the three aspects of this lunar god.
