Frigga

Frigga is the goddess of love, marriage, destiny, and protection; she is the strongest Aesir Goddess and wife to Odin, leader of the gods. She shows her most protective side as mother of Baldr, forcing oaths from all of creation, except mistletoe as it was too young. This information on his weakness was later used by Loki to slay Baldr. The tears Frigga wept at the loss of her son are said to be the rain. She is also associated with mist, fog, and clouds, which she is said to weave with her spindle.
